Can I Use A Gas Furnace With A Heat Pump?
An approved matched heat pump, indoor coil and gas furnace can form a dual-fuel system. Compatibility, controls, backup heat and changeover settings must be verified for your home.
Who Completes My Heat Pump’s Warranty Registration?
Ask who will register the selected AZV6S or AZV9S system and how you will receive confirmation. Amana’s current product pages specify online registration within 60 days for the advertised limited coverage, subject to written terms and applicable exceptions. Keep the installation invoice, indoor and outdoor model and serial numbers, and registration confirmation together.
Are Factory Coverage And Prime’s Installation Coverage The Same?
No. Review the selected heat pump’s manufacturer equipment warranty separately from Prime’s written installation or repair coverage. Ask which parts and labor are covered, what is excluded and who handles a service request. Controls, backup heat and retained equipment may have their own terms; a maintenance membership is a separate agreement.
