AI-generated round flex-duct comparison, not a Prime customer job. Cleaning suitability and results depend on the liner’s condition.
A CLEAR PLAN FOR YOUR HOME
Know what’s inside. Know what comes next.
01 / LOOK
Start with the condition.
Tell us about visible dust, renovation debris, or what you’ve noticed at the registers. The duct material, access and condition help determine whether cleaning is appropriate. For flex duct, we check the inner liner before recommending a method; damaged or deteriorating sections may need replacement.
02 / PLAN
Agree on the scope.
Review which supply and return ducts, registers and other components are included. Confirm the method, access requirements and complete price before approving the work.
03 / REVIEW
Look at the result.
Ask to see the accessible areas after cleaning and discuss anything that needs separate attention, such as damaged ductwork, leakage, filtration or moisture.
Brush-and-vacuum cleaning equipment. The approach must suit the duct material and condition.
THE RIGHT SERVICE FOR THE RIGHT REASON
Dust deserves a look. So does the cause.
A dusty grille alone doesn’t tell the whole story. We can discuss whether the concern points to duct cleaning, a filter issue, an air leak or another HVAC service.
Duct cleaning isn’t needed on a fixed schedule for every home. It also doesn’t correct damaged ducts or an ongoing moisture problem.
Duct cleaning + UV. Different jobs. One comfort plan.
Cleaning physically removes accumulated debris. UV equipment is a separate option for treating selected surfaces or air passing through the HVAC system. We’ll help you compare the right approach for your home.

APCO-X
UV-C light meets activated carbon.
APCO-X combines a UV-C lamp with Fresh-Aire UV’s EverCarbon media for air treatment and odor-causing compounds. Installation position determines whether the lamp also reaches the coil.
UV-C and activated carbon work together.
Manufacturer-rated 3-year UV-C lamp.
Single- and dual-lamp configurations; confirm the proposed model.

Prime 1 UV
PremierOne MUV-7-50DR-12
Our Prime 1 UV system pairs a remote germicidal UV-C lamp with a separate, adjustable UVV oxidation unit for odor control. The remote design gives the installer flexibility around available space.
12-inch germicidal lamp configuration.
Separate adjustable oxidation chamber.
Professional installation and scheduled lamp maintenance.
The oxidation option produces ozone; it is different from an ozone-free UV-C-only product. Prime checks the home’s equipment and manufacturer restrictions before recommending it.
UV does not remove duct dust or replace a filter. Product results depend on installation, airflow and maintenance; no medical outcome is promised. Our proposal identifies the exact product, installation location, lamp schedule and price.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
A few good questions.
Will duct cleaning solve every dust or airflow problem?
No. Dust and airflow concerns can also involve filters, leaks, duct design, equipment or moisture. Cleaning addresses accumulated debris; other findings may need a different service.
Can UV replace cleaning or my air filter?
No. UV equipment does not physically collect dust. Keep the filter and cleaning plan appropriate for your system; consider UV separately for the function and location specified by its manufacturer.
Which UV systems can I discuss with Prime?
Ask about APCO-X from Fresh-Aire UV and Prime 1 UV, our private-label PremierOne MUV-7-50DR-12. We’ll compare fit, installation, maintenance and the exact model in your written proposal.
How much does duct cleaning cost?
The scope depends on your home’s systems, ductwork and access. Request a written quote before approving work. Duct cleaning is a separate service from the Prime Advantage Plan; ask about any available member pricing.
