PRIME AC & HEAT / DFW METROPLEX

Get A Clear Next Step When Your Home Feels Cold.

Tell us whether the heat starts, whether air reaches your rooms and what the thermostat shows. Our Prime team can help you arrange the right visit for your home.

Tell Us What Changed.

A short description helps the office understand your request. You do not need to know which part has failed.

  • The system is on, but the house is not warming up.
  • Heat starts and stops before the home feels comfortable.
  • Airflow is weak or only some rooms feel cold.
  • The thermostat shows a message you have not seen before.

Is Your Heat Pump Defrosting Or Not Heating?

An air-source heat pump periodically clears frost from its outdoor coil during cold-weather operation. During defrost, the outdoor fan may pause, the sound can change and steam may rise. These signs alone do not establish that the system is working correctly. If ice keeps building up, heating repeatedly stops or your home stays cold, request a diagnostic visit. Follow your system’s operating instructions; do not open equipment or change backup-heat settings to diagnose it.

Understand Your Heat-Pump System

Share The Pattern, Not A Guessed Part.

Tell Prime whether your home uses a furnace or heat pump, when the problem started, and whether heating resumes after the change you noticed. Include the thermostat message and which rooms are affected. A photo from a safe, accessible location can help explain visible frost; you do not need to reach into equipment or clear ice yourself. The technician determines the cause before you approve repair work.

Prepare Your Heating-Service Details

Understand The Diagnosis And The Repair Price.

A diagnostic visit helps establish what needs attention. Ask what the repair addresses, what is included and whether anything else may affect the system’s operation.

How To Request Service

Need help soon? Call to check the earliest opening. Our team answers calls 7 AM–10 PM daily; our AI answering service handles calls after hours. Same-day visits depend on availability and are confirmed by Prime.

  1. Tell Us What’s Happening

Share your city, the problem and whether the system is working.

  2. Confirm Your Visit

Send a request or call. Our team confirms the service, pricing and appointment details with you.

  3. Review Your Options

Ask about the diagnosis, recommended work and price before deciding.

Your Questions, Answered

Tell us whether the system starts, whether air comes from the vents, and what the thermostat shows. Share when the problem began and any unusual sounds. If you know whether you have a furnace or heat pump, include that too. Request a heating diagnostic to find the cause before choosing a repair.

Schedule heating repair

Tell Prime whether the furnace never starts, starts then stops, or runs without warming the rooms. The technician identifies the cause before you approve a repair; a symptom alone does not establish which part failed. Ask how the findings relate to the start-up and shut-down controls, blower airflow and, for a gas furnace, burner operation and heat-exchanger condition. The checks depend on your equipment and the fault being investigated. Ask for the proposed work, full repair price and applicable warranty terms before deciding. Leave equipment panels, gas components and electrical testing to the technician.

See ENERGY STAR’s Contractor Checklist

Choose a diagnostic visit when the furnace will not start, repeatedly stops, or leaves your home cold. A tune-up is routine maintenance for a working system; it is not a fixed-price repair for a breakdown. When requesting service, describe the problem and say how many heating systems are affected so the office can confirm the visit scope. If your furnace is working and you want seasonal maintenance, request a tune-up instead. Parts and repair work are quoted separately from the diagnostic service-call fee.

Compare A Heating Tune-Up

The PRIME49 offer is a $49 diagnostic service call for one system. That fee is waived when Prime completes the repair for the diagnosed issue. Repair work, parts, and refrigerant are separate charges. Request PRIME49 through the offer form or mention the code when you call. Review the offer details before requesting service.

Call (972) 400-3602 to check the earliest available visit, or send an online service request. Our team answers calls 7 AM–10 PM daily; after-hours calls go to our AI answering service. Share your city and whether the system has stopped working. Same-day visits depend on availability. An online request does not reserve a visit; Prime confirms the appointment with you.

Call for the earliest opening

Start with the diagnosis and repair cost. Compare that with the system’s condition, repeat breakdowns, warranty coverage, and the full cost of a replacement. Age alone should not make the decision. Ask Prime to walk through the options, including the Amana S-Series, before choosing.

Compare repair and replacement

Have your service address, a contact number, and a short description of the problem ready. Note thermostat messages, unusual sounds, and when the issue began. Share any recent repairs, and make sure the equipment can be reached safely for the visit.

Request service online

Yes. Prime repairs are backed by a warranty. Before you approve work, ask which coverage and terms apply to your quoted repair.

Prime does not add a surcharge just because the visit is at night or on a weekend. The service-call terms and repair price still apply. Our phones are staffed from 7 AM to 10 PM daily. After those hours, our AI answering service handles calls and appointment requests. Answering your call does not mean a technician is immediately available; confirm the appointment time before expecting a visit.

Prime technicians are background-checked. Share your service address, the affected system and access instructions when requesting a visit. The team confirms the appointment before you expect a technician.

Yes. Ask for the guarantee terms that apply to the work in your quote. If you have a concern after the visit, contact our office so the team can review it with you.
